The Long March-5 Y8 launch vehicle (长征五号遥八) will launch the Chang’e-6 lunar mission (嫦娥六号). On 27 April 2024, the Long March-5 Y8 rocket and the Chang’e-6 spacecraft have been vertically transferred to the launch pad at the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site Hainan Province, China.
