Escalations in the conflict between Iran and Israel are creating tensions between the Prime Minister and the Foreign Secretary. Israel has now retaliated with missile strikes for a violent attack by Iran, itself in retaliation for Israel's bombing of the Iranian consulate in Damascus.

George Eaton joins Anoosh Chakelian and Freddie Hayward on the New Statesman podcast to explain the two camps within the Conservative party and to explore how a difference of opinion over the Iran-Israel tensions is impacting British foreign and defence policy.
