एक जगंल में एक बड़ा ही धूर्त भेड़िया रहता था.. वो अक्सर छोटे मोटे जानवरो को खाजाया करता... उसी जंगल में एक बड़ा सा झरना था एक दिन भेड़िया झरने के उपरी वाले हिस्से की ओर से गिरते हुए पानी को पी रहा था... तभी उस की नजर नीचे की ओर पानी पीरहे एक मेमने परपड़ी...भेड़िया के मन में मेमने के नरम माँस को खाने का विचार आया.. मेमने को खाने की कल्पना भर से ही भेड़िए के मुँह में पानी आ गया और अब वो मेमने को मारने की तरकीब सोचने लगा..
