This little girl is now a woman! Tommy Roe helped her get in touch with the proper people, so she could have a copy of this big day in 1967 when she sang with Tommy Roe! She sent me this video a few years ago. She said this: "I was the little girl. It was the summer of 67. It was on Santa Monica beach. I was playing on the other side of the pier when my older sister got me. She asked me if I wanted to be in a movie. When she brought me to the other side of the pier, I was asked to sit next to Tommy Roe. My sister was sitting on the other side of him. the other girls were already there behind Roe. At the time, it was the greatest moment in my life. I was only 14, and I felt he was only singing to me. Actually, Tommy Roe was lip-synching. We could hear the recording, and he was whispering. Even he was strumming his guitar, but it was a quiet strum. We were all told to sing the song along with him. If I had known the camera was on me all that time, I would have been so embarrassed. I thought the camera was on everyone." A #8 hit in 1966 on the Billboard Hot 100.
