October 27 2023, 5:29 pm - a pair of eagles used this nest on the shore of Boundary Bay last year, but we didn't have cams installed, so didn't get to see them interact. I'm not sure if this is the same pair, but the male looks very comfortable here, and the female clearly is liking the area - so maybe. This is just a "getting to know you" video - the one I think is a female is closer, with the very full crop (which may be why she likes the area!). She appears to be a young adult with a bit of gray shading still on her head, which is why I'm not sure if she is the female from last year, but we'll check with the ground observers for their insights.
