M-Labs and IBA-Karachi jointly organized a 3-day OUT OF THIN AIR (OOTA) design game jam, in which over 200 students participated. OOTA is an immersive, technology-free game building framework which focuses on creating experiences through a human-centered design approach.
IBA-Karachi stands at the forefront of revolutionizing education by embracing diverse teaching methodologies. In this masterstroke, the Institute has taken a step to make OOTA a part of its curriculum, fostering a dynamic and interactive learning environment. Moreover, events with their ethos around gamification of learning cultivate essential skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity, making the educational journey both enjoyable and impactful.
This time around, the theme of the OOTA was all about 'Nostalgia,' which not only birthed exceptional games that wowed judges but also took them on an exhilarating journey down memory lane.
Kudos to IBA-Karachi's young game builders for producing some amazing experiences during the event and special thanks to all the mentors for guiding students on this gamified learning journey.
