Footage recorded by Lina Fisher shows police using a targeted spray at close range to protesters.

A loud boom is heard at one point in the footage, with bystanders commenting that it was a stun grenade.

Local media, citing the Travis County Sheriff’s Office, said 79 protesters were arrested.

The protesters had been removed from a pro-Palestine encampment on the university campus.
