H. Dutilleux: Sarabande et cortège (Zarabanda y cortejo) para fagot y piano

Abstract:
Professor Thunemann talks about concepts of articulation such as staccato. The rhythm must be clearer to fit with the piano. In some passages it is advisable to take time and wait before going on, this way we give more expression to the phrase. The student should be aware of the differences between similar phrases, there are little nuances. The end is played without rallentando, in tempo. In some moments, Thunemann plays to show the student the best articulation, the correct rhythm, or the expressive phrasing.
