Tonight in the battle of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia we got Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins against Nathan MacKinnon and the Colorado Avalanche as they came head to head in what was a thrilling game! Crosby had a 4 point game while MacKinnon had himself 3 point game. However, he also made NHL history. It is now Wayne Gretzky and Nathan MacKinnon. The only two players in NHL history to not only have 2 separate 18 game point streaks in one season, but also the only 2 players to ever score a point in 34 consecutive home games. MacKinnon has the chance to break the all time streak of 40 games set by Gretzky.
