This is the story of a pandemic paddling adventure along the Maine/Canada border. Chris & Chris bring some friends along for a canoe trip down the St Croix River in eastern Maine. With the border closed and Canada as the eastern shore, we were only allowed to land and camp on the right bank. It made for a strange and beautiful yet reflective journey down river.

The forty miles of the St Croix we paddled are a very special section of river because it mixes all the elements you need to make a good canoe trip. It combines whitewater and swift water with sections that are very paddle friendly by all skill levels.
