Belvedere Cruisin' was the first song recorded by Al to be played on the Dr. Demento show. Al had submitted a previous song, "Pico and Repulsiva" in 1973, but Dr. Demento lost it before it could be played. "Belvedere Cruisin'" first aired on March 14, 1976.
