The location is Teizui, Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture.
The beautiful carpet of moss phlox flowers in Teizui harmonizes with the pleasant sounds of the river and the breeze, creating the resonant melody of “The Color of Falling Petals.”

Every month, our channel will stream soothing music set in regions that carry out initiatives to tackle climate change and global environmental challenges. Zurich is committed to climate change, and “Green Music produced by Zurich” is our official YouTube channel. Please enjoy the “Relaxing Sounds of Nature” that we upload every week.

At the start of April each year, a colorful carpet of moss phlox appears on the bank of the mouth of Nakayama River in Teizui, Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture, as depicted in this animation.
Many people visit the location to catch a glimpse of the beautiful view of pink and white flowers carpeting the sloping bank.
This area was once overgrown with weeds and was full of illegally dumped rubbish. However, thanks to clean-up and planting initiatives by local residents, the river bank became beautiful once again. Today, conservation efforts are actively being carried out so as to preserve Teizui’s moss phlox for future generations.

Kamaboko’s music evokes the view of the beautiful carpet of moss phlox in Teizui, and the soothing sounds of the river and the breeze.
