Since 1993 Life Ball has united people from all walks of life in the heart of Vienna to promote solidarity for people affected by HIV/AIDS and to raise funds for live-saving projects all around the globe. With an annually changing theme, the feast of life has become an institution over the last 25 years and has been able to establish itself as a mirror of the social events and tides of its time. Within a night of colorful soulfulness and celebrated diversity world-famous artists and hundreds of helpers behind the curtains volunteered their talent for the good cause – not only to help those in need and fight the stigma related to the disease, but to contribute to the global vision of an AIDS-free generation.
