"Christmas Mission" is told from the perspective of a child on Christmas eve, imagining he or she is...a spy! This song was written collaboratively with words by Timothy Schwartz and music by Scott Watson (both teachers at Parkland High School at the time) for the Parkland: A Season for Giving (2009) album. Vocals on the track are by Erin Kelly, then a student at PHS.

CHRISTMAS MISSION
Words by Timothy Schwarz and Scott Watson
Music by Scott Watson

VERSE 1
Creeping down the stairs, I look around the corner,
I follow the color's glow into the foyer.
What do I see? Hopefully,
It's taking me to the tree!
The shiny sparkling lights,
Unfold before my eyes.
I'm surprised, I'm excited;
delighted at what I might see!

CHORUS
I'm on a Christmas mission,
my parents don't know I'm a spy.
Conducting a stealth operation.
I snuck out of bed, my prize is ahead!

VERSE 2
I sneak to the tree, so many things I wanna see.
I'm intrigued by the box that a pears to be barking.
Think! Oh what can it be? What are the clues telling me?
I hope that my skill is up to the task.
The shiny sparkling lights,
Unfold before my eyes.
I'm surprised, I'm excited;
delighted at what I now see!

CHORUS-BRIDGE
I'm on a Christmas mission,
my parents don't know I'm a spy.
Conducting a stealth operation.
My mission is almost complete;
I lurk in pajamas with feet!
leading the way
to the happiest day…..of the year!
