With the end of the Cold War, Europe began to invest its defense budgets in social projects such as schools and hospitals. Russia, on the other hand, has cut its defense budget in order to overcome the economic crisis. But the war in Ukraine has shown that both the West and Russia are not ready for all-out war. With the beginning of the war, Russia and Ukraine began to be unable to provide sufficient ammunition to their soldiers on the frontline. This time, Russia started buying weapons and ammunition from North Korea and Iran, as it could not get access to the critical materials it needed in its own production lines due to the embargo.

As a result, Russia is trying to spread the war over time with the weapons it bought from North Korea and Iran in the Ukrainian war.This situation is causing the war at the eastern gate of Europe to turn into a black hole. It is necessary for Europe to switch to a war economy and produce ammunition cheaply. Can Turkey become the center of cheap ammunition and weapons production in Europe?
