Lakshmi (Ditya Bhande) is a young girl who is passionate about dancing. She aspires to win the Pride of India Junior dance competition that happens on a national level but her single mother Nandini (Aishwarya Rajesh) hates the concept of dance for her own reasons. Lakshmi happens to meet Krishna (Prabhu Deva) who runs a cafe near her school. Both get along as Krishna too loves the concept of dance. Lakshmi gets a golden opportunity to take part in a selection process organized by Pride of India 2005 winner Yusuf Khan (Salman Yusuf Khan) but she fails for some reason. Later, it is revealed that Krishna a.k.a. Vijay Krishna is a dancing legend and Krishna-Yusuf Khan is at loggerheads. How Krishna guides Lakshmi to take part in the Pride of India Junior dance competition amidst all these obstacles is the rest of the movie.
