Practice clapping your hands and stomping your foot. But you can use your imagination and use different elements. Use drum sticks, tap your thigh, play in some drums. After getting comfortable, start to count out loud or sing the Ta Ti-Ti along.
Encourage your kids/students also to move around, while playing.
This is a great game to work with your internal tempo.
