This girl was brought into San Bernardino City Animal Shelter today.
She is nearly starved to death and we can’t turn our back on her.

Another poor dog failed by humans. The dog is terribly sick.

We are going to name her Hope because we are giving her the Hope she deserves. I’m in tears. Worst case of neglect I’ve ever seen. They immediately started her on an IV, are doing a blood test and X-rays.

She weighed 37 pounds, and he said she should weigh at least 50. She had 20 ticks on her. She also has cataracts and struggles to walk.
They bathed her, as she was covered in urine.
