I would say we probably saved the best for last. Greg and I have decided to experiment with a different slightly less common breed. We are Going with Moderator. This breed is a new spin off an old breed. Aberdeen Angus originated in Aberdeen Scotland. This breed wonderful well rounded breed was used in a study in Trangi Australia. The research took low ing and hight line growth traits from pure Aberdeen Angus stock and developed them further to look for stocking rates, feed efficiency, and carcass quality. From there the lowlife herd was bought, and further developed. The American Aberdeen Association began developing a line that is named Moderator. This line bring all the best traits of the lowline in a sightly larger package. I can't wait to see what our new Moderation bull can bring to the table, no pun intended.
