The air pollution from the volcano looks a bit dramatic from time to time although it's more of a problem for the tourism industry and not always for the right reasons. Most of it is gone with the wind out to sea quite fast, but we are not always so lucky of course. I'm also using this video to wonder about the shield volcanos on the peninsula, how large they get and if such eruptions might be about to hit again.
