E23 was flying in to the nest and an immature eagle was following. The eagle lands in the treetop as E23 alerts and defends the nest. The immature eagle will fly off and head east - I got a really good view of it from the 360 cam! E23 is also getting dive bombed by shrikes at the same time. E23 goes to the veranda and attic trying to get away from them. We have some great closeups of E23 in the fading sun with the wind blowing E23's head feathers. Also we have a good view of E23's supraorbital ridge (brow bone) E23 will head back down to the nest and lie down for a while and get up and go to the attic. We have more amazing closeups of E23 at sunset and then back to the nest to lie down again. E23 will go to the veranda and then up to the treetop to roost for the night. Thank you for watching!
