Going into the travel season, there was a lot of items in the rig that were brand new, and also new to me. Technology is not something I planned to incorporate into this rig, but wow has it made my life easier. The Smart Generator is one item I was very excited about, but certainly had my concerns with. Out of the box it started right up, but the overall operation of the device did come with a slight learning curve. You can use it without the smart features, but if you want just a regular generator I would recommend going a different route just to save yourself some money. If you are in a position to use the features, primarily speaking about charging the Ecoflow products, this is far superior to anything else available on the market. My initial concerns were mostly based around the operating RPM, and the reliance on a computer, but after 240 hours of use, and increasingly better performance, this generator has earned my confidence.
