Porto-based Madd Rod heads up Inner Shah Recordings and is a key member of Discotexas. Opener 'Jumping Jacks' is a synth-heavy disco cut with stiff mechanical drum loops and snappy snares that are brought to life with surges of warm synth energy and tightly knotted arps. Vocoder vocals add to the future retro feel as this dance floor heater journeys to the stars. 'Deslize' then keeps the astral disco vibes flowing with more loopy synth sequences and chattering percussion of storming drum funk. It's an atmospheric cut with 80s fills and a standout bassline.
