The Ocean Song video offers toddlers, young kids and the whole family an exciting look into the world of marine life -- and some summer fun, too! The following animals are are presented: Jellyfish, octopus, dolphin, shark, whale, sea turtle, fish, and crab. We envision the song and video being used both as entertainment and as an educational aid in classrooms and at home. The song also has an important message relating to the environment: Keep the ocean clean! We feel it's important to teach kids at a young age about how pollution affects not only humans, but all life on earth. During the choruses of the song, you will see sisters Taika and Saima dressed in costumes cleaning up trash, which is meant to symbolize the trash that plagues many oceans of the world. Thus the video can be used as an introductory aid to a unit on environmental issues for kids. And lastly, the video might be useful for getting some ideas for costume parties and Halloween events, as you will see that the kids are dressed up as marine animals!
