The first in the triptych of installations that make up YM2020's Human Nature exhibition is ‘The Tides Within Us’, a new commission from one of the world’s leading immersive art collectives, Marshmallow Laser Feast.

'The Tides Within Us' explores the journey of oxygen from the lungs to the heart and body in a series of installations that echo the ecosystems within nature using medical imaging technology. Jointly curated by York Mediale and York Museums Trust, Human Nature runs at York Art Gallery from 21st October 2020 to 9th May 2021.
