I had zero expectations for this to even happen. Russ isn't who I personally had at the top of the QB list.. But I'm looking at the positives with this signing. Russ is a veteran QB, played in big games behind a good defense and still has plenty in the tank to make plays on his feet when necessary. His price point is as low as they come, the risk is minimal and the Steelers just added a QB who threw 26 touchdowns vs Kenny's 6. These are the best of his clips and I'll probably show his errors too in the future. Yinzers are a tough crowd to please but paired with Arthur Smith, it's hard to deny there being a tiny window (the smallest crack) of hope for the Stillers. I'm excited but it's different than what they've been doing the last 15 years.. and I'm always excited for some Steelers football getting closer each day!!!
