Sometimes there is just something missing from your almost complete painting. Something either in the shadow colors or the highlights but something is just not quite where you want it to be. In this video I find that missing color and show you what adding the slightest glaze into your piece can do to the overall effect.
In this painting, Cherubim, that color was Gamblin’s Asphaltum, a really lovely and unique brown color.
