Before the 2024 GRAMMYs, two-time nominee Jelly Roll sat down for an in-depth chat about his unusual path to stardom, how hip-hop taught him all the tricks he knows, and how his first country album, WHITSITT CHAPEL, was like a rebirth. "I always said I want to release music like a rapper, I want to write music like a country music writer, and I want to tour like a rock and roll star,” he said, "so that's my goal."
