Originally was gonna be solo, but then FEAR volunteered. Callback to our older days in Dark Descent with Custom Stories and TC.
Final thoughts + spoilers ↓

Game-wise it was a pretty good experience. Gives off an interesting mix of Penumbra and Amnesia, hence the "Penumbrasia" feel. Felt a bit like Alien Isolation at times, which isn't a bad thing. The game seems designed with high replayability in mind, hence why it may seem short (I can kinda see why, but I don't think it's that short honestly), but I didn't integrate additional replays into this video. Maybe in a livestream.
The only thing I felt a little bit mixed on was the ending section. Sure, it seems more obvious now, but during the first time, I felt like I was being given mixed signals on what to do (flee or kill, both are actually valid). The sudden swap from instakill to non-instakill (apparently on Easy the Beast isn't instakill, didn't try it myself) was a little jarring, but understandable.

Lore-wise I am aware I missed some notes in this first playthrough, came across a couple of extra notes and entries off-camera while editing and a couple of replays on both Hard and Easy. Far as I understand, when Henri found Lambert in that crater early in the game, Henri gave him some water from nearby. Since said crater is right near the tunnels we reach near the endgame, and since there's evidence that the weird world from Amnesia Rebirth (possibly Dark Descent too) is "involved", safe to say something similar to the Harvester mutagen (which plagued everyone in Rebirth) is what ended up allowing Lambert to heal and eventually transform into the Beast we faced instead of the Ghouls that may naturally occur. Also explains why the Beast reacts to the Rabbit Toy (which FEAR apparently saw).

I like it, FEAR seems to as well. Now we wait for Custom Stories maybe. Still got some SOMA and Rebirth custom stories we may try.
