Three terrorists were killed during an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam on Tuesday. Basit Dar, who was an active operative of the Resistance Front (TRF), a Lashkar-backed terrorist organisation, was also killed in the encounter.

Basit Dar was on the 'most wanted list' of security agencies and carried a bounty of Rs 10 lakh. He was involved in more than 18 cases of killing of police personnel and civilians, the Inspector-General of Police Kashmir said.
