I highly recommend that you give Pimsleur a try for free for 7 days, as it has transformed the way I study Russian and Arabic. Basically you listen to 30 minute lessons where you start speaking the language from Day 1 by repeating important sentences out loud, and it is INSANELY EFFECTIVE. I decided to learn Modern Standard Arabic on it, and I was having a blast making good progress within my first 30 minute lesson. I was seriously speaking better Modern Standard Arabic than Egyptian after a few days of Pimsleur even though I spent a few months self studying Egyptian. Then I also use it to improve my Russian, as the audio only nature of it allows me to not hurt my eyes given my eye problem.
