We're happy to present a tour of Barbican's multimedia ecological show Our Time on Earth by co-curator Caroline Till.

Showing at The Curve Barbican until 29th August, Our Time on Earth is a multidisciplinary exhibition showcasing pieces by a multitude of artists, collectives and scientists. The works themselves depict a variety of imagined futures in response to the climate emergency, considering the rewilding of human habitats, adapting to the effects of ecological crisis and the role that can be played by shifting cultural perceptions of identity. Split loosely into three chapters entitled ‘Belong’, ‘Imagine’ and ‘Engage’, the exhibition includes dynamic, immersive works by such artists as Marshmallow Laser Feast, artistic duo Riitta Ikonen & Karoline Hjorth and Liam King.
