Filmmaker Karan Johar and director SS Rajamouli want April to be one of the biggest months in the movie business. The two parts in the Bahubali franchise will release within a span of two weeks. Ahead of the release of Bahubali: The Conclusion on April 28, the makers will be re releasing the first part in some selected theatres on April 7.

During the trailer launch of the film, SS Rajamouli said, "We are planning to release part one maybe one or two weeks before the release of part two in southern states so that people can get back into the narrative."
