Instead of returning to Far Far Away when Puss discovered he only had one life remaining, he acted like he couldn’t go back to be with his friends, so what might have happened? Well I think Puss abandoned Shrek and Donkey in a similar way to how he abandoned his true love: Kitty Softpaws.
