Spent 3 days in Kodiak, Alaska shooting an episode of Catfish and felt inspired to make this video with all the b-roll I was continuously shooting.

The guy that wrote the poem was not actually a poet. He was part of the US Coast Guard and was sent up to Alaska to survey the territory in the 1920s. NOTE: I DEFINITELY ABRIDGED THE POEM. It's much longer and there wasn't enough footage to support all of it. George is probably rolling over in his grave. Sorry dude.
