In this episode I head to Yamagata prefecture, to check out Yamadera, Yamagata, and Kaminoyama. I stayed at the Saikatei Jidaiya in Kaminoyama and it was a beautiful Japanese traditional inn, also known as a ryokan, with a nice cypress bath - not a bad way to spend a birthday.

This is my series about my adventures in Japan from March to May of 2023. I wanted to vlog it and turn it into watchable episodes for my friends and family, but mostly for myself to re-watch in the future.
