This is a followup to my first Elmer's Squishies video. In that one, I tried to figure out what was in their Secret Solution. Since then, I've worked with a few types of industrial products and I'm pretty sure it contains Shore 00 silicone rubber. This type of silicone can be mixed with a "deadener" to make it even softer (many thanks to cloverhunter for the tip) . I tried that here and made some squishies with the perfect mochi texture! The uncured one reminds me of my unsuccessful attempts with clear Hitohada Gel. I suspect that Part A of clear Hitohada Gel contained a lot of deadener (hence the ratio of 3:1) but it was borderline too much for the curing process to work. I also think that the colourful packet inside Rainbow Jellies is silicone and deadener because the final result is squishier than Elmers.
