M15 is perched on the U Branch and E23 flies off the attic. Eight minutes later a sub adult flies in to the U branches close to M15- they both vocalize but quickly calm down. M15 gave his warning vocals at first but then realized the young eagle was not a threat.The sub adult seems very comfortable in this spot and M15 was quite accepting of it. Nice closeups of the SA in the nest tree! There is no way in knowing who this sub adult is - there are many eagles in the area that are just passing through. The sub adult looks to be about three years old and stayed for almost twenty minutes before flying off. This same sub adult will return and land in the attic thirteen minutes later and that is when E23 will flush it out!
