We took a day trip - 22 hours total - from Estes Park, Colorado to Santa Fe, New Mexico & back. We woke up at 3 a.m. and left to make it to the sunrise at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs and it was sooooo worth it. Then we headed for Santa Fe! The Meow Wolf museum was incredible and unlike anything I've ever experienced. After many pit stops, pictures, Queen songs, and hiking down to the bank of the Rio, we headed back towards home for a looooong drive. One of my favorite days :-)
