Actor Tony Hale (Veep, Arrested Development) presents the 2024 Writers Guild Award for Adapted Screenplay to Cord Jefferson for American Fiction (Screenplay by Cord Jefferson, Based upon the novel Erasure by Percival Everett; Amazon MGM Studios).

The 2024 Writers Guild Awards LA. show was held on Saturday, April 14, 2024 at the Hollywood Palladium and hosted by Niecy Nash-Betts, an Emmy and NAACP Image Award-winning actress and producer (Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, The Rookie: Feds).

The Writers Guild Awards honor outstanding writing in film, television, new media, videogames, news, radio, promotional, and graphic animation categories.
