On the 19th of September 2023, international law experts and government leaders gathered at the Grand Hyatt Hotel's Poplar Room for a Roundtable Discussion on the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW) as part of the 9th Anniversary of the September 18th HWPL World Peace Summit.

Led by Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim, Al-haj, the session marked a crucial step in institutionalizing peace in the Philippines. Hon. Ebrahim pledged regional commitment of support for the DPCW through a BARMM resolution. Simultaneously, political maneuvers were in play, connecting key figures and establishing a Philippine version of the International Law Peace Committee.

This historic event showcased a harmonious blend of grassroots dedication and political strategy, shaping a path towards long-lasting peace in the nation.
