There is a well-known Trigonometric identity Sin²θ + Cos²θ =1. Almost all high school students use this sin theta cos theta formula in trigonometric math problems. In this video, we show in detail why is Sin²A + Cos²A =1. The identity of Sin²θ + Cos²θ =1 is geometrically proved in this video.

To prove Sin²θ + Cos²θ =1, we use a right-angle triangle and we use Pythagorean Theorem which is x²+y²=z² for a right-angle triangle.
