Grandpa Pig has built a fantastic little train called Gertrude that Peppa and George think is the best train in the world. Grandpa Pig built the little train himself in his shed and is off to the allotment, past carrots, flowers and cabbages, bee hives and Grandma Pig's chicken house.

Grandpa Pig's Train Ride known as Opa Pigs Zugfahrt is a mini train ride manufactured by Metallbau Emmeln located in the Peppa Pig Land area of Heide Park. Opa Pigs Zugfahrt opened in 2018 when Pepper Pig Land opened.

What are the Height Requirements for Opa Pigs Zugfahrt?
There is no minimum height to ride Opa Pigs Zugfahrt. Guests under 4 years old or 1.10m need to be accompanied by an adult.

Peppa Pig Land was Germany's first Peppa Pig Park to open. A new Peppa Pig Park is due to open at Legoland Deutschland Resort in May 2024 known as Peppa Pig Park Günzburg. Peppa Pig Park Günzburg will be Germany's first stand-alone Peppa Pig Park similar to the Peppa Pig Theme Park in Florida. Peppa Pig Land features four rides:
- Peppas Ballonfahrt (Peppa Pig' s Balloon Ride)
- Schorschs Dino-Adventure (George's Dinosaur Adventure) - also known as Opi Mümmels Dino Abenteuer (Grampy Rabbit's Dinosaur Adventure) at some Peppa Pig Parks
- Peppas Bootsfahrt (Peppa's Boat Ride) - also known Grandpa Pig's Boat Ride, Grandad Dog' s Pirate Boat Ride and Opa Kläffs Piratenschifffahrt

Peppa Pig 20th Anniversary Celebrations
Peppa Pig celebrates 20 years of being on our screens after first airing on the 31st of May 2004. Peppa Pig will be getting two new characters for the Peppa Pig 20th Anniversary, Mr. Raccoon voiced by Orlando Bloom, and Mrs. Leopard voiced by Peppa Pig fan Katy Perry. We will also see the very first Peppa wedding episode when Mr Bull marries Mrs Cow.

Heide Park Resort is a theme park located in Soltau, Lower Saxony, Germany. Owned by Merlin Entertainments, it is the largest amusement park in Northern Germany and among the largest in the country.

Heide Park is divided into five areas.

Eingangbereichg (Entrance Area)
Eingangbereichg is located at the entrance to Heide Park containing guest services, photo pass, and the Heide Park Shop.

Bucht der Piraten (Bay of Pirates):
Bucht der Piraten is themed around the world of pirates with rides such as the Bounty, Topilaula-Schlacht, and the amazing dive coaster Krake and Big Loop

Transsilvanien (Transylvania):
Transsilvanien has a medieval theme built around the legends of horror and demons. Rides include the huge drop tower Scream, the wing coaster Flug der Dämonen, Toxic Garden, the Bobsled Coaster Bobbahn, and the new 2024 Dämonen Gruft (Demons Tomb)

Land der Vergessenen (Land of the Forgotten):
Land der Vergessenen is home to Heide Park's award-winning wooden roller coaster Colossos - Kampf der Giganten (Colossos - Battle of the Giants), Desert Race, and Wüstenflitzer (Desert Speedster)

Exploria
Exploria contains the most rides and sub-areas, such as Peppa Pig Land, the Western-themed Lucky Land, and Drachenzähmen- Die Insel (How To Train Your Dragon Island). It is also home to the Monorail, the Water Rapids Mountain Rafters, and Ghostbusters 5D
