Explore with me Thingvellir National Park (Þingvellir) as I walk through the whole park. When you visit this park, you will be walking between 2 continents because this park sits in a rift valley caused by the separation of 2 tectonic plates. Also, this park used to be the site of Iceland's parliament from the 10th to 18th centuries. As you enter the trail, you can see Lake Thingvallavatn off to the right, and then you will come across a beautiful waterfall called Oxararfoss. There is a bridge to get you to the other side to enjoy the view of Almannagjá canyon and visit the historic church and old parliament area.
