Known for his light and lively showmanship as the director of the Columbus Zoo, Jack Hanna talks about the dark side of a 1972 accident at his family's property in Knoxville. A boy, Matthew Ramsbottom, had his left arm bitten off by Daisy, Hanna's favorite lion. Hanna told the story to Columbus Dispatch writer Mike Wagner while on a lunch break at the 2018 Memorial Tournament.
