Learn how to use the present perfect verb tense and the past participle in this English grammar lesson! We use the Present Perfect when the exact time of an action is not essential or not mentioned.
Example: I have been to Europe.

We also use this tense for actions that were completed recently, and words like "just," "already," or "yet" are often included.
Example: He has just finished his homework.
