On July 29, 1999, Mark Orrin Barton went after those that he claimed: "...greedily sought [his] destruction." After the suspicious passing of his first wife, Barton was on the police's radar but he remained a free man. His crime spree resulted in one of the most notorious--yet sometimes unheard of--shooting sprees in U.S. history. In the wake of Columbine, America was soon faced with the Atlanta Day Trader Murders.
