An NFL rule change in 2015 allowed the defending team to score a defensive two-point conversion. If the defending team returned the ball into the endzone, they would be awarded two points instead of the play being blown dead. The rule change allowed for some exciting and game-changing plays, such as Eric Berry's pick-2 against the Falcons and Will Parks's blocked PAT return against the Saints.
