After exploring Portland Maine, I head down for a solo day in Salem Massachusetts on my New England road trip. I fell in love with Salem, Massachusetts. I got to learn so much more about the Salem witch trials, how the town has evolved over the years and experienced some wonderful shops, food and culture. If you're into creepiness, horror, Halloween and witches, this is the places to go. It's no wonder people like to come here during the fall - it's the perfect thing to do in October.
