Yaki Morag is a colonist from Bat Ayin. He is the father of Yarden Morag, who along with Shlomi Dvir, Shahar Dvir, Ofer Gamliel, and several other men, were convicted of an April 2002 attempted bombing of an Arab girl's school in East Jerusalem. The huge bomb was inside a trailer, and consisted of 2 barrels of gasoline, and 2 propane tanks with "vergin" (military battery) explosives attached to them, and fuses that were attached to a clock, timed to explode at 7:35 am, at the busiest time of the morning, when hundreds of girls would have been entering the schoolgrounds, which was across the street from a hospital. Later investigations revealed this was not a one-off strike, but rather, part of a West Bank network of settlers conducting a campaign of terror against Palestinians.
